Korinna Magana (she/her/ella)

Interim Coordinator, Parent and Family Engagement

Korinna is a passionate educator and Latina scholar with three years of experience working in Student Affairs and a year and a half in Academic Affairs. She is constantly driven to expand her knowledge, encounter new experiences, and help others. Korinna earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education Sciences from UC Irvine and is working towards her Master’s degree in Higher Education & Educational Leadership at CSU Fullerton.

As a first-generation Latina, Korinna understands many students’ challenges and barriers, especially in underrepresented and minoritized communities. During her college experience, she fundamentally changed, making her more confident and socially aware of her place in this world. Korinna wishes to continue paying it forward at CPP and strongly believes in helping students become leaders while embracing them with appreciation and empowerment. Korinna is very excited to be part of the New Student Programs & Family Engagement team and is sure she will make a positive impact!

In her spare time, Korinna enjoys baking, trying new foods, and watching sports!
