A Message from Dr. Hilton

Dear Bradfield Families,

Whew!  This week was short but full of so many great events. Parent/Teacher Conferences kicked off the week on Tuesday. It was great to see all of the families coming to the campus to talk with teachers about their child’s progress. A strong family-school partnership plays such a vital role in the success of a school community.  Later that evening, Gramercy McCauley (1st grade), Benjamin Aboussie (2nd grade), Mary Ellen Small (3rd grade), and Collier Shuart (4th grade) recited the HPISD mission and vision statements before leading the Board of Trustees in both the Pledge of Allegiance and the Texas Pledge. Way to go, Broncos!

On Wednesday, 3rd grade launched their Residential Real Estate Project by inviting parent experts to come and share their real estate expertise.  I cannot wait to see the outcome of this project.

Then, the annual Donor’s Breakfast was on Thursday morning. Over forty families showed their support and joined me for a little fellowship and a delicious breakfast, prepared by our amazing chefs, Ms. Susan, Debra, Joyce, and Jaime. Thank you to our Bradfield families for your continued support!

On Friday, it was Fair Day in 2nd grade. The students constructed Fair Day games that demonstrated their knowledge of force and motion. Their Fair Day festivities came to a close with a picnic lunch and cotton candy.  It was so much fun playing all of the different games and hearing the students explain their scientific understanding.

Finally, this is just a friendly reminder that Early Voting begins Monday, Oct. 21 to Nov. 1, and Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 5. Learn more about the bond and check out the frequently asked questions by visiting bond2024.hpisd.org.

Have a great rest of the weekend, and I will see you all on the front steps on Monday.

Kindly,

Dr. Aimee Hilton

A Message from our PTA President, Rachel Reed

It was a short, but busy week in Broncoland! Hopefully everyone enjoyed their Fall Break and returned refreshed for the next nine weeks of school.

PTA continued its traditional fall Parent Parties this week. We are so grateful to hosts Katy and Parker Brooks and Lauren and Dan Calano for generously giving their time and opening their homes to our Preschool and Kindergarten parents.

Thank you also to our Donor Relations team of Katy Brooks, Loren Heller and Dianne Johnson for coordinating our Donor Breakfast with Dr. Hilton on Wednesday. PTA also extends a huge thanks to cafeteria staff members Susan, Debra, Joyce and Jaime for preparing, serving and cleaning up our delicious breakfast.

PTA thanks fourth graders from the classes of Ms. Cannon, Ms. Korn and Ms. Von Ende for serving at our first Snack Shack of the year. These Broncos had a great time fundraising for their grade’s gift to the school. Thank you to PTA’s Fourth Grade Programming Chairs, Kristy Ferguson, Katie Head, Laura McCallan, Katherine Ratliff and Jen Sowders for coordinating the event.

Finally, thank you to the Bradfield Dads Club for hosting such a fun tailgate for our Bradfield families on Friday. What a fantastic start to the weekend!

With Gratitude,

Rachel

We're excited to show extra appreciation and love for Principal Hilton! Check out the email from your Room Moms to see how you can participate.
