A Message from Dr. Hilton

Dear Bradfield Families,

Thank you all for the sweet notes and treats for Principal Appreciation Week. I especially loved all of the letters and drawings from the students. Every note was so special. Thank you, PTA, for the thoughtful gifts from all of the parents. The kind words, gestures, and support truly made me feel loved and appreciated. It is such an honor to be part of such a caring community, so thank you!

Next week on October 31st, our Kindergarteners will continue the tradition of the Halloween Parade.  They will be dressed up in their Halloween costumes and parade through the building. First through Fourth Graders play an important role as they will proudly line the hallways with their teachers and cheer for the Kindergartners during the procession. We ask that our 1st-4th graders honor our Kindergartners’ right of passage and refrain from wearing costumes to school on October 31st. Parents are welcome to attend the Halloween parade which will begin at 8:10 AM. We ask that parents form their parade line on the Sport Court to see their precious little goblins strut their stuff!

Finally, our 3rd graders diligently worked on their Residential Real Estate Project this last week as they designed and constructed a model of their haunted houses. I am blown away by the creativity and ingenuity of our Broncos.  Every project was exceptional!  Way to go, Broncos!!

A Message from our PTA President, Rachel Reed

Thank you to all families who took a moment this week to express appreciation for Dr. Hilton and the enthusiasm, energy and love for staff and students that she has brought to Bradfield.  How did we get so lucky to get such a wonderful principal???

PTA loved every moment of showering Dr. Hilton with love this week,  A tremendous thanks goes to our VP Staff Liaison, Holly Navarre.  Not only did she organize an amazing week for Dr. Hilton, but we have Holly to thank for arranging our recent Crossing Guard Appreciation, Custodian Appreciation, and so much more.  Thank you, Holly, for everything you do!

PTA and our 3rd and 4th grade families truly appreciate the generous hosts of our final Parent Parties this week.  Thank you to Jennifer and Michael Morton and Catherine and Hunter McWilliams for opening their homes for our parents to enjoy an evening out together.

None of these wonderful parties would have been possible without the tireless efforts of PTA’s Parent Party Chairs, Erin Choi and Brett Underwood.  Six parties over three weeks!  Thank you, ladies, for working so hard to make each grades’ families feel included in our Bradfield community.

With Gratitude,

Rachel
