A Message from Dr. Hilton

Dear Bradfield Families,

What an amazing week! I had the pleasure of participating in so many fun and interactive learning experiences.  Students were building and experimenting with pumpkin catapults, writing and sharing pumpkin disguise stories, and creating and painting beautiful artwork with glow-in-the-dark paints.  Then on Thursday, our Kindergarteners kicked off the day by parading around the building in their precious Halloween costumes followed by the Dads Club hosting our Annual Pumpkin Carving. A special thanks to Scott Trulock, Hunter McWilliams, Bryan Grabowsky, Matthew Ratliff, William Doffermyre, and Mack Hicks for embracing the Halloween spirit, dressing up, and working the service line in the cafeteria. It is one of the highlights of this fun day.  Bradfield has so many incredible traditions, and it is truly wonderful to see students, families, teachers, and staff come together to give our students engaging and enriching learning opportunities.

As I wrap up, this is just a friendly reminder that Election Day is this Tuesday, November 5. Exercise your right to vote and learn more about Bond 2024 by visiting bond2024.hpisd.org.

As always, I hope you all are having an amazing weekend, and I will see you on the front steps on Monday.

Kindly,

Dr. Aimee Hilton

A Message from our PTA President, Rachel Reed

Happy Fall, Bradfield families!  PTA hopes everyone enjoyed all their Halloween festivities and is excited for the next three, fun-filled weeks.

Our Winter Wonderland Carnival is shaping up to be an incredible family event. Less than two weeks from now!  Please take an extra moment to read through all the Carnival-related info in this bulletin, as well as your Room Mom email.  You won’t want to miss out on any of the details for this fantastic event.

I would also like to take a moment to thank PTA’s Joys & Concerns Chairs, Diana Oates, Jessica Rugg and Nicole Sommerville.  These ladies work behind the scenes with hearts full of love, on behalf of all PTA, to make sure our Bradfield families and staff feel loved and supported during life events, both celebratory and challenging. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to them for yourself or on behalf of others.

Enjoy our short week!  Please make time to go vote on Tuesday, if you haven’t already done so!

Gratefully,

Rachel
