A Message from Dr. Hilton

Dear Bradfield Parents,

Recently our Kindergarteners celebrated the 100th day of school. You may have noticed some of our students had wrinkles, receding hairlines, and gray hair. Several students even had canes to help them walk around the building as they celebrated the 100th day of school. The day was filled with learning experiences based on the number 100.

First graders also joined in the fun as they are now 101 days smarter. Students participated by dressing like Dalmatian puppies. They engaged in writing and math stations that revolved around the number 101.

Our 2nd and 4th grade Broncos had a great time in Garden Club this week planting onions and enjoying the warmer weather.

Finally, this is a friendly reminder that the School Experience Survey launched on Monday, February 3. The primary contact for each student should have received an email from Dr. Mike Rockwood with a link to participate. If you don’t see it in your inbox, please check your spam folder.

The deadline to complete the survey is Friday, February 21. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us recognize our strengths and identify areas for improvement. Thank you for your participation!

Spread the word! New student & kindergarten online enrollment for the 2025-26 school year began Monday, February 3.

All new students must complete the 4-step enrollment process.

Parents of incoming kindergarten students are invited to Kindergarten Round-Up at Bradfield on Tuesday, Feburary 18 at 9AM.

A Message from our PTA President, Rachel Reed

Thank you to all the Bradfield families who contributed to our Canned Food Drive this week, benefiting the Children’s Advocacy Center of North Texas. PTA is very grateful to our Community Outreach chairs, Sarah Conway and Lora Grabowsky, who coordinate these special events throughout the year that give us an opportunity to give back to our community.

I also want to extend a great thanks to PTA’s Secretary, Erin Hodges. Not only does Erin provide incredible support to her many PTA committees, like Community Outreach, she also keeps the entire PTA Executive Board organized with our PTA calendar, monthly meetings, board minutes, and much more. Thank you, Erin, for your boundless energy, attention to detail, and dependability! We couldn’t function without you.

Bradfield Girl Scouts are hosting a gift card drive for families

who lost their homes in the California fires.

They will be collecting gift cards, cash, and venmo (@Bradfield7548) of any amount on February 13 & February 14th from 7:30-7:55am at the school entrance. Gift card ideas include Amazon, Target, Costco, Door Dash and others! Thank you for your support!
