A Message from Dr. Hilton

Dear Bradfield Families,

I hope everyone enjoyed a fun-filled Spring Break! It’s always nice to tap the reset button and get ready for a strong finish to this school year.

Prior to Spring Break, we had lots of festivities and celebrations at Bradfield. I hope everyone was able to attend this year’s Open House. It was great to see all of our Broncos so excited to share their work with their loved ones.  A special thank you to our Art Teacher, Ms. Cromley and PTA Art Show Chairs, Jessica Bolander and Marjon Henderson, for organizing such a wonderful event. The sea masterpieces were just precious!

It was also hard to miss the excitement of Bradfield’s 2nd grade musical, Bugz. If you weren’t able to stick around to see it, you missed an outstanding performance. Thank you, second grade teachers Ms. Fischer, Ms. Knight, Mrs. Jones, Ms. Ulrich Mrs. Young, and Mrs. Montgomery for pulling off a fabulous event for all of our families.

Thank you to our wonderful PTA for always going the extra mile to take care of the Bradfield staff. Not only did they provide a delicious dinner for staff members who worked Open House, but they spread an enormous amount of sunshine before we left for Spring Break. Thank you, for making us feel extra special and appreciated!

Finally, I would like to congratulate Bradfield’s Teacher of the Year, Caroline Gosnell, and Paraprofessional of the Year, Rachel Losak.  Both of these wonderful ladies are dedicated, exemplary educators, and they bring so much joy and sunshine to our amazing campus.

I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weather, and I will see you on the front steps tomorrow morning.

Kindly,

Dr. Aimee Hilton

HPISD is looking for the "unsung heroes" who are going the "extra mile" in serving our students, staff, families and community. In the spring, the District "Heart At Work" award committee will review all those recognized on each campus and choose one professional and one paraprofessional from each campus and the District office to be honored and awarded $500 at the annual staff recognition banquet.

"Heart At Work" nominations can be submitted by teachers, administrators, staff, students, parents, families, and anyone interested in the well-being of our HPISD community. Candidates can not be nominated by relatives.

All nominations must be submitted on the "Heart At Work" award  nomination form and sent electronically from now through March 31, 2025. Nominees submitted after March 31, will be considered in the proceeding award cycle of winners.

A Message from our PTA President, Rachel Reed

I hope all of you had the most wonderful Spring Breaks, filled with fun with family and friends, rest, and relaxation!

Prior to Spring Break, Bradfield held some of our favorite events of the year.  Thank you to Art Teacher, Colleen Cromley, and PTA Art Show Chairs, Jessica Bolander and Marjon Henderson, for putting on a wonderful Art Show filled with the cutest under the sea masterpieces by our Bronco artists.  Thank you, families, for supporting the Art Show, the proceeds of which fund a significant portion of Bradfield’s Art program.

Thanks to our incredibly generous PTA donors, we were also able to send each Bradfield staff member off to Spring Break with a spa-themed gift bag and financial gift.  We are grateful for the efforts of PTA Gift Chairs, Stephanie Ernst and Allison Small, for coordinating this special PTA tradition and showering our staff with the appreciation the deserve.

I look forward to seeing all of you back at Bradfield this week, as we kick off the whirlwind final nine weeks of the year!!

With gratitude,

Rachel
