Dear Bronco Families,
It is hard to believe we are only 9 weeks away from the end of the school year! We are already in the process of looking ahead to 2025-2026 and making plans for another exciting year for our students. With each new grade level, parents naturally begin to wonder about class assignments. Therefore, I feel it is important to share with you the process, timeline, and details that will take place to organize class lists for next year. Developing class lists is a very detailed process as each student’s needs are analyzed and considered before determining the most suitable learning environment. Each child is different; therefore, it is imperative for us to balance class assignments for teachers to meet the needs of each student effectively. To balance groups of students for instructional success, our teachers use the following criteria:
- Balance of students in academic programs
- Instructional environment
- Learning styles and/or needs
- Equal division of boys and girls
- Social needs
- Intervention/enrichment needs
As you can see, many details are considered to create balanced classes and provide an optimum learning environment for each student. This process requires a great deal of collaboration and planning among team members, including support staff. If your child has a unique need and you feel they would benefit from a particular type of learning environment of which the current teacher is not aware, please complete and submit the Google Form below no later than 5:00 pm on Monday, April 7th.
Parent Input Form for 2025-2026 School Year
My hope is you will put your trust in this process and know your child’s teacher cares for your child, knows his/her needs, and will group them according to what will foster success and happiness next school year. I assure you we will be diligent in our efforts to provide an effective, nurturing learning environment that will facilitate academic success. As always, thank you for sharing your child with us!
Before I wrap up, the Bradfield Family Picnic is right around the corner. We look forward to seeing everyone on the field this Friday during your child’s regular lunchtime. Please check out the information below for more details.
I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend, and I will see you and your children on the front steps tomorrow morning.
Kindly,
Dr. Aimee Hilton
