A Message from Dr. Hilton

Great Friends Day was a great success!  It was well-attended, and we enjoyed being able to celebrate the special guests who were able to spend the morning with us.  No matter if this was their first Great Friends Day or not, we were thrilled to have each of them attend.

A special thank you to those who helped Great Friends Day be such a success!

PTA Great Friends Day Chairs, Kendra Allen & Daley Bennett and team for planning, organizing, communicating, and ensuring we had valet service and photo opportunities.

Bradfield Music Teacher, Mr. Foley for teaching our students and having them deliver a stellar performance.

Cafeteria Staff, Ms. Susan, Debra, Joyce, and Jaime for hosting a wonderful welcome.

Mr. Hector and team for the set-up and breakdown.

I would also like to thank our PTA Book Fair Chairs Jackie Coker, Kate Ryan, and Shannon Stetson, who helped Mrs. Penman. Our Broncos loved shopping this week. Not only did they get some great reading materials, but the money raised goes back to purchasing more library books. Thank you, ladies!

Earlier last week, our KC Club worked with some of our high school students and discussed the topic of courage.  It was great to hear their conversations about being courageous and standing up for your friends and those around you.  Way to go, Broncos!

I hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend, and I will see you on the front steps on Tuesday.

Kindly,

Dr. Aimee Hilton

On Tuesday, April 22, weather permitting, we will be testing drainage on the field, which requires some large equipment. The field will be closed during the portion of the day that the work is taking place.

A Message from our PTA President, Rachel Reed

Wow! What a week, Bradfield?!?! From our Magic Treehouse Book Fair to STAAR testing to Great Friends Day, our Broncos did it all this week!

PTA extends a huge thanks to our incredible Book Fair team of Jackie Coker, Kate Ryan and Shannon Stetson, as well as our wonderful Librarian, April Penman. In addition to envisioning the cutest Book Fair theme, these ladies navigated all the logistics of the switch to a new Book Fair vendor, Literati. And, thank you, Bradifeld families, for supporting our library through your Book Fair purchases!

PTA sincerely hopes all our Broncos’ Great Friends thoroughly enjoyed their time at our precious school on Thursday. Thank you, Kendra Allen and Daley Bennett, our Great Friends Day chairs. Their hard work certainly paid off in the form of a smooth, on-time, and tremendously fun event. We are so thankful to Mr. Foley, Senora Parker, Ms, Kennemer, Mrs. Graeber, Mr. Hector, all the classroom teachers, and the rest of the amazing Bradfield staff for creating this day of special memories for our families.

Finally, thank you to the many, many parents who volunteered at these events throughout the week. We couldn’t have done it without you!

With gratitude,

Rachel
