A Message from Dr. Hilton

Dear Bradfield Families,

We had another great week at Bradfield. Our third and fourth graders enjoyed everything during Bike Rodeo, from the obstacle courses to the safety talk from Lt. Koppa to the refreshment stand. Thank you to Natalie Alexis and Emily Haddock for organizing a great event. Also, thank you to the volunteers who worked the stations so our Broncos could enjoy a great morning on their bikes and scooters.

You may have noticed that we had new principals on Thursday. Emilie, Teddy, and Conor McCallan kicked off our day with fun music, announced proclamations for the students and staff on BBTV, and spread kindness throughout the building. They prepared and distributed appreciation gifts for the teachers and staff. Thank you, Emilie, Teddy, and Conor for your exemplary leadership!

Finally, we have three healthy baby ducks in the building. Bronco, Blaze, and Goose joined our campus last Monday. Hopefully, we will have more ducklings join this brood over the upcoming days as we have several eggs in the incubator. In the meantime, students are learning about the duck life cycle and occasionally viewing the ducklings on Bradfield’s Brooder Broadcast.

I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather this weekend, and I will see you on the front steps on Monday.

Kindly,

Dr. Aimee Hilton

As we are drawing near to the end of school, please stop by and pick up all medication that you have for your child in the clinic. Any medication not picked up on the last day of school will be discarded, as we are not allowed to store medications over the summer. This includes Epi-Pens, inhalers, and all prescription and over-the counter medications.

Thank you for a wonderful 2024-2025 school year.

Have a happy and healthy summer!

A Message from our PTA President, Rachel Reed

Another fun week is in the books for Bradfield!

Mother Nature cooperated JUST long enough for our 3rd and 4th grade Broncos to have a chance to enjoy our BMX Bike Rodeo obstacle course.  Endless thanks to our Bike Rodeo volunteers, especially those who braved the rain to help with clean-up after the event.  Thank you also to Bradfield Dads Club for your help with both set-up and clean-up.  PTA + BDC make a great team!  Finally and most of all, thank you to Bike Rodeo chairs, Natalie Alexis and Emily Haddock, for your endless enthusiasm for the event and your ever-positive outlook.  Thank you for attending to every possible detail.  Without you, this event would not have happened!

PTA is so excited for our school to celebrate Staff Appreciation Week this week!  I can objectively say that Bradfield has the best staff of any school on the planet.  ;)   So, feel free to take a moment this week to share your gratitude when you see these amazing staff members.

With Gratitude,

Rachel

Bradfield PTA has fun surprises planned for our staff all week long!
