A Message from Dr. Hilton

What a fantastic week of school! This week was packed with Curriculum Night, safety drills, beginning of year assessments, and lots of learning. It’s been so great to go into classrooms and see the students engaged and excited about school.

Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer and the beginning of a busy, productive season for our students. I hope you all have a chance to relax and enjoy some quality time with your families over the long weekend. It’s a great opportunity to recharge before we dive into the coming weeks of learning and growth.

Here are a few reminders as we wrap up the long holiday weekend:

School resumes at 7:55 am on Tuesday, September 3rd. Please ensure that your child returns to school ready to continue their educational journey.

Upcoming Events: Please read through this eBulletin noting upcoming events and important dates. We have several exciting activities planned, and your participation is always valued.

Communication: Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to the school office or your child’s teacher. We are here to support you and ensure a positive experience for your child.

PTA News

A Message from our PTA President, Rachel Reed

The PTA hopes everyone is enjoying this long weekend and the brief break it is providing from these busy first few weeks of school.

PTA’s Room Mom Coordinators, Jennifer Morton and Sara Shuart, have worked nearly nonstop for the last two weeks getting our amazing network of Room Moms up and running. Thank you, Jen and Sara, for leaving no detail overlooked and providing such thoughtful support to the Room Moms, PTA leadership, and Bradfield staff. Thank you to the nearly 80 volunteers who will serve as Room Moms this year and provide support and appreciation for all Bradfield staff members. We are so grateful for you!

We are also incredibly grateful for Becca Thompson, our Directory Chair, who worked so quickly yet diligently behind the scenes to prepare our ‘24-25 directory data and get DirectorySpot launched last week. PTA members, check out the new info in the app when you get a chance.
