September 30: Safer Return Training due. The training includes updates from L.A. County Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (C.D.C.), as well as Cal Poly Pomona specific resources and practices. October 1: Priority Filing period opens for 2022-23 FAFSA and CA Dream Act applications. We know it's a little early, but write this date down or put a reminder on your phone -- you have to reapply for financial aid every year, and the earlier you apply the better. We'll remind you again next issue!

Vote on campus. The LA County Registrar Recorder will be hosting a Vote Center at the AGRIscapes Visitor Center starting September 11 through Election Day on September 14. Any eligible voters who are residents of LA County may vote in-person or drop off their ballot. Additional information about the Vote Center, including hours of operation, is available here. If you do not live LA County, seek additional info from the election officials in your home county or from the California Secretary of State.
Check out the new Student Services Building Virtual Queue. We have a new system for dropping-in to SSB offices. Just text Cal Poly Pomona to 909-245-6672 and follow the prompts to join a line for many student services. You can also scan the QR codes posted around the building. You’ll get updates on wait times and a text when it’s your turn. You can be anywhere on campus while you’re waiting! Learn more here.
The Bronco Computer Lab is open 24 hours, 6 days a week. The Bronco Computer Lab is on the first floor of the library building: its entrance is on the outside of the building. For Fall 2021, it's closed Friday at 4:30 p.m. through Sunday at noon for cleaning. You must have a Bronco ID card to access the lab. Find more info here.
Get your Intramurals Sports Pass. Intramurals are back online and on campus! Gather your friends or register as a free agent to join a team in our Intramurals Sports Leagues. We’ll have co-rec, women's or men's divisions in sports like basketball and volleyball, and even online games like Valorant and chess. September 22: Rock Climbing Rappelling. This workshop at the BRIC will introduce the basics of setting up a rappel and the motions involved in using rappelling as a secure means of descent. After practice, your newly acquired knowledge will be taken to new heights with an experiential rappel from the top of the Bronco Peak facilitated and protected by certified Adventures staff.
