Deputy Unit Chief
JOB SUMMARY:
The Deputy Chief of the Community Affairs Unit reports to and partners closely with the Director to achieve the office’s mission.
The Deputy will share responsibilities with the Chief and the Director and is responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and facilitating the implementation of projects/events related to the Office's commitment to education and community relations. The Deputy will lead the Unit’s effectiveness by managing the community engagement and youth and education efforts and will work diligently with all bureaus and units throughout the Office.

Community Engagement Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY:
Community Engagement Coordinators work closely with community partners to address crime in their neighborhoods, educate the community on the criminal justice system, and liaise with the office’s bureaus and units on strategies to develop engagement initiatives focused on specific crimes and communities. This position is responsible for imagining, planning, coordinating, scheduling, and participating in a variety of outreach activities including community meetings, special interest engagements and other public events.
