Year-End COVID-19 Update
Dear Brookfield Academy Families,

The school anticipates an excellent close to the first term, and, as Head of School, I want to express my gratitude for your patience, perseverance, and support of the school and our students. Our chief goal remains to provide an excellent education and moral foundation for your child. We believe this is best achieved by keeping students in school.

I am writing to inform you that we have recently seen an uptick in the number of positive COVID cases in the Upper School. After careful consideration and discussion with our administrative team, I strongly suggest that students in the Upper School wear masks until the end of exams. During the brief time remaining before break, we will have large groups of students sitting for exams in gymnasiums and other spaces. Our objective is to keep the students healthy and in school through exams.

As we approach year-end activities and events across the entire campus, please give consideration to your child wearing a mask. However, there is no change to the school’s “mask optional” policy. We value your role and respect your decisions as parents.

We are so close to concluding this semester. Let's finish strong and enjoy some well-deserved time with family and friends.

Kind regards,
Douglas Ricci
Head of School
