BA 50th Reunion
BA is hosting a reunion for the graduating classes of '71-'74 on campus today. Graduates and their families are taking the day to tour the campus, while reconnecting with their past classmates! For some, it will be the first time they step foot inside Patriots Hall! I think they will be impressed with all the updates made to the campus since their graduation. Well, maybe not all of the updates, as the bowling alley that the graduates used to bowl on is no longer in Liberty Hall.
The American Character Education Series
Judge Shelley A. Grogan, from the Court of Appeals District II, will be speaking at Brookfield Academy Friday, September 17, at 8:45 am in the Washington Room at Founders Hall. Judge Grogan will be speaking on the history, importance, and strength of our United States Bill of Rights. See details here.
You can RSVP for the event by emailing Linda Pryor, Executive Director of Mission & Academics. A zoom link will also be available upon request!
Founders Fest
The annual Founders Fest celebration is taking place on Friday, September 17, from 4-7 pm at the BA Fields of Freedom. If you are in town, come join the festivities!
The night will kick off with the boys soccer game (no pun intended) vs Watertown Luther Prep at 4 pm.
Then, make your way over to the tent at the Fields of Freedom for a $5 tailgate meal where you can eat hot dogs, brats, chips, and drink beverages from 5-7 pm! After you eat, join the activities that will keep both you and your kids entertained. Activities include an obstacle course, screamer slide, sno-cones, face painting, and more!
The night concludes with the varsity football homecoming game at 7 pm against Kingdom Prep Lutheran with fireworks at halftime!
Five Star Run
The morning of Saturday, September 18, will be the 41st edition of the BA Five Star Run. Join other members of the BA community for either a 1-mile color run/walk or a 5k color run! If you are like myself and don’t particularly love running, you can bring your fluffy friend to make the run even more enjoyable!
Tickets start at $15 and include a commemorative t-shirt for the first 150 registrants! Register here!
