Swim Team

The BA swim team is preparing to compete at Sectionals this weekend, hosted by Plymouth. The Blue Knights hope to perform well in order to represent BA at the State meet next Friday, February 17.


The State meet takes place at Waukesha South High School. You can purchase tickets to the event here. Doors open at 4:30 pm, and the finals begin at 5:30 pm.

Girls Varsity Basketball

The BA girls varsity basketball team did not play this past week. The team looks forward to the final four games of the season. The first of those four is this Thursday, February 9, at Menomonee Falls. Tipoff is set for 7 pm. Then, the team takes on Milwaukee Lutheran this Saturday at 1 pm, before returning home to take on Saint Francis on Tuesday, February 14, at 7:15 pm.

Boys Varsity Basketball

The BA boys varsity basketball team played a pair of games this past week. Both games were competitive, resulting in one win and one loss. Against Carmen Northwest, ranked #7 in Division 3, the Blue Knights lost 85-73. Trent Rayborn led the team in scoring with 22 points, while Nolan Demski added 21. Anthony Przybilla led the Blue Knights in rebounding, securing 14.


Against Kenosha Christian Life, BA won 68-64. With the win, the team moves to 9-0 in the Midwest Classic Conference.


Up next for BA is a home game against University School of Milwaukee (USM) on Friday, February 10. Tipoff is set for 7:15 pm. The BA poms team will be performing at halftime, and it is also MS night for the boys teams.

UBLT Ski Team

On Thursday, February 2, UBLT competed in a tough Slalom race at Little Switzerland. With the seniors away on the senior trip, freshmen Meghan Jeide and Marilee Nygro represented the BA varsity girls. The UBLT team took 4th overall. For the girls JV, sophomore Johanna Zaleski finished 7th overall in the JV individual standings.


Juniors Kamron Kaiser and Vibhu Guda represented BA on UBLT's boys varsity team which took 3rd place overall. Junior Peyton Zeiler and sophomore Rohan Gandhi rounded out UBLT's JV team which finished in 4th place overall.


Tonight, UBLT completes its regular season with a Giant Slalom race at The Rock. Tonight's results will determine State eligibility for both the boys and girls varsity teams. Senior William Morgan has clinched State as an individual competitor and will hopefully be joined by teammates after tonight. 

Middle School Basketball


Almost all teams were off this past weekend due to BA's Winter Break. Teams return to action this upcoming Saturday for their respective Don Bosco league games.


Middle School night is this Friday for all boys teams. Boys who play on a Level 5-8 BA basketball team should arrive to Patriots Hall cafeteria at 6:45 pm for pizza. At halftime, each team will be introduced. Players should wear their uniforms.
