Boys Basketball
On Saturday, November 20, the Blue Knights played for the fourth time in the Milwaukee Bucks Prep Series, the second at Fiserv Forum. Facing off in an exhibition against University School of Milwaukee, BA was in control the entire game, leading by as many as 23 points.

BA won the scrimmage 61-47. Both teams played deep into their rosters which allowed for several outstanding performances from Blue Knights players.

Sophomore guard Brady Gregg led BA in scoring, tallying 11 points. Brady was followed by seniors Ethan Bayerlein and Peytan Clarey, who each scored 10 points. Junior Maliq Crawford added 8 points. The Blue Knights saw nine players score at least one basket.
Brookfield Academy shot 33% from behind the three point arc, connecting on 11 of 33 attempts.

The highlight of the night belonged to senior Peytan Clarey when he stole a ball at mid-court and finished the fast break with a thunderous one hand dunk that got the BA cheering section on their feet.

The Blue Knights are back in action Saturday, December 4, at home against Living Word Lutheran, and Monday, December 6, at home against Milwaukee Pulaski. Both games are slated for a 7:15 pm tip!

GO BLUE KNIGHTS!!

The Brookfield Stars JV hockey team opened its season by participating in the 16th Annual Kyle J. Neurohr Memorial Hockey Tournament in Sheboygan.

With wins on Friday against Oregon and on Saturday over Waupaca, the team advanced to face the Ashwaubenon Jaguars in the championship.

BA freshman Parker Dysart contributed two goals and three assists in the championship game to help the Stars claim a 9-3 victory over Ashwaubenon and win the championship.

The Brookfield Stars kick off the regular season at home Friday, December 3, against Cedarburg at The Ponds of Brookfield. Varsity faceoff is at 6:40 pm, and JV faces off at 8:40 pm.
Swimming
After a year off, the Blue Knights swim team is back in the pool training, and the season is under way.

The team has three varsity letter winners returning, including MVP Adrian Bellido and team co-captains Vishnu Guda and Tyler Beckley, along with several newcomers.

Practices are held at Brookfield Central High School on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. December 11 is the team's first competition, taking place at Brookfield Central, hosted by the Brookfield Barracudas.

We’re excited to be back.

Fencing
The varsity fencing team had two meets on November 13 and November 20, at Stevenson and Catholic Memorial High School.

For two of our fencers, Isaac Jansen and Sohum Sharma, the Stevenson Invitational was their first meet. Both fencers “fought” hard, with Isaac finishing 41st out of 55 epeeists, and Sohum 38th out of 54 sabrists. Harrison Koss finished 40th in epee, Connor Artley 27th in sabre, while Madison Kob and Ruthie Yu finished in the top 32, finishing 30th and 28th out of 49, respectively. By coincidence (or fate), Connor and Sohum fenced each other in direct eliminations.

At Catholic Memorial, we brought our biggest team yet, adding Tyler Riederer, who finished 40th out of 46 men’s foilists, and Eleanor Plamann, who finished 44th but showed steady improvement.

Other placements at Catholic Memorial:

Harrison Koss - 23rd of 50. Isaac Jansen 35th. Sohum Sharma 34th of 43. Madison
Kob 19th of 44 (a personal record), and Ruthie Yu 12th out of 44.

Thanks to the fencers and everyone who came out to watch!

For those interested in fencing, our next meet is today, December 1, at the Freedom Hall North Gym from 3-9 pm.
