Cross Country

After a cross country season that ended too soon, the team entered the State meet on a high note. Luci Jensen, Rose Erlinder, and Kamron Kaiser all qualified for the big race.

At State, the three BA runners did us proud. Rose and Kamron showed major improvements from their State run last year, while Luci ran another strong race.

152 girls qualified for the Division 2 State race. Rose finished 30th with a time of 20:21. Luci ran a 21:45.2 which was good for 102nd place.

Kamron finished 45th out of 152 runners in the Division 2 boys race, finishing in a time of 17:28.3.

We look forward to track and then next year's cross country season full of fun challenges and success!

Football

The Brookfield Academy Blue Knights traveled to Racine Lutheran and lost a hard-fought Level 2 playoff game to the Crusaders 49-27.

With nearly 300 yards, the BA passing attack kept the Blue Knights competitive. Senior Alex Dieck connected with Colton Green for two passing touchdowns. Green added 11 receptions for 110 yards.

A special congratulations to our nine seniors: Armaan Chawla, Isaac Jansen, Aaron Strange, Ryan Novacek, Colton Green, Alex Dieck, Tate Grossman, Andrew Li, and Maliq Crawford. Your contributions and character will be missed on and off the field!

Level 8

It's hard to believe that the season is almost over for the Level 8 volleyball team. The team learned a lot this year and will conclude its season this week in the Seton tournament. The team that consisted of 14 players for BA, finished 4-6 in conference and played very competitively in the St. Leonard’s tournament earlier in the season. Support from parents, Mr. Rechlitz, and Coach Danielle was much appreciated. We hope to see many of these players continue their volleyball careers in the Upper School. Congrats to all!

Level 7

What a great season it was for the Level 7 volleyball team! BA took first place in conference with a 9-1 record! This team improved tremendously over the course of the season, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds. Thanks to all the players, parents, Mr. Rechlitz, and my co-coach Danielle for all your efforts.

Faculty Pickleball

Members of the BA faculty and staff enjoyed the warm weather Tuesday by playing pickleball on the new BA tennis courts. The new tennis facility has eight pickleball courts marked on the tennis courts. Thanks to all who came out to participate!
