2021-22 School Theme: Celebrate Learning Together
|
|
Everyone here on campus is thrilled to be TOGETHER. Our theme, Celebrate Learning Together, is perfect for this year.
We surely missed having parents on campus last year, and now we welcome them back to learn and enjoy the many opportunities we offer…assemblies, sporting events, special days, book discussions, programs, and more.
Students missed mixing with other age groups to share experiences, knowledge, and fun. Teachers missed out on collaborating, swapping ideas, and enjoying each others’ company.
It is so clear now that learning is advanced exponentially when we can be together, share our opinions, agree and disagree, push for deeper explanations, make mistakes, try again, and grow through them together. Learning together is a messy, beautiful, and enriching experience...let’s celebrate!

COVID-19 UPDATES
-
Parents, please help us by monitoring students for COVID-19 symptoms and keeping students home if they show any signs of illness.
-
Reminder: Please contact your Division's Administrative Assistant if anyone in your family has had direct contact with someone testing positive for COVID-19. A direct contact is defined as being within six feet of someone without a mask for 15 minutes or more. When making determinations about these situations, we will consider this definition; however, under certain circumstances, we may find it in the best interest of our students to expand upon this definition of direct contact. It is our intention to always do what is most necessary to keep our students, staff, and faculty safe.

Ongoing Updates: In addition to weekly newsletter updates, wellness protocols and other information are available in the MyBA parent portal under the COVID-19 School Updates.

Please note: Updates to the printed calendar will appear on the BA Google calendar.
Host Family Needed: We have an Upper School international student in need of housing for the current school year. A stipend is given to all international host families. If you or someone you know is interested, please contact Dr. Larry Pesch.

To register, email Linda Pryor.
Social Media: If you're at a BA event and get a great image of your student, please submit it to [email protected]. We're always looking for content. Please include a few details about the event and the names of students in the photo. We'll use as many as we can.
