Green Cart Permits Are Available for the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Staten Island

The NYC Health Department is offering mobile food vending Green Cart permits for the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Staten Island. This permit allows you to vend fresh fruits and vegetables — including prepackaged sliced and cut fruits and vegetables — bottled drinking water, and plain nuts.

To get a Green Cart permit, you must have a valid Mobile Food Vending License and submit the Green Cart Waiting List Application Form to join a waiting list. You can apply for the waiting list at any time. To fill out the waiting list application, visit nyc.gov/greencarts.

When Green Cart permits become available for Queens and Manhattan, the NYC Health Department will make an announcement.
