MLK Day Chapel
Brooks School is hosting a Martin Luther King Jr. Day Interfaith Service on Jan. 15 at 9:45 a.m. in the Frank D. Ashburn Chapel. This event brings together faith organizations from the North Andover area, including St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, North Parish Church, Trinitarian Congregational Church, UCC, Andover Islamic Center and others, to honor and remember the legacy of Dr. King.
The service will feature readings and musical performances from various traditions, followed by a reception in the Robert Lehman Art Center gallery.

Planning Ahead: Long Weekend Following Winter Term
Winter Term ends on Jan. 20 with the Winter Term Symposium, held the morning of Jan. 20 and followed by afternoon activities and games. There is no school on Jan. 22 or Jan. 23.
- Boarding students may leave campus overnight after their school commitments on Jan. 20 and return on Jan. 23 by 8 p.m.
- Boarding students may leave campus for all or part of this weekend by completing a REACH “WT Weekend” request.
- Athletics note: There will likely be some 1st team practices held the afternoon of Jan. 20.

Weekend Activities
There are lots of activities on and off campus this weekend, including an open house at Head of School John Packard's home on Saturday night and a trip to the movies on Sunday afternoon. We hope everyone has a great weekend!

During yesterday's Wellness Wednesday, students participated in relaxation techniques and enjoyed listening to handpan drumming, aromatherapy, yoga and meditation. Tatum Glynn '27, Emma Otieno '27 and Phoebe Dooling '27, above, won custom "B Well" portable charging devices for being the first to sign up for this Health and Wellness Center sponsored event.

Winter Term
Winter Term is well under way! Looking forward, we invite you to attend the concluding Winter Term Symposium on Jan. 20 from 9 to 11 a.m.
9 to 10:15 a.m. Classroom visits and presentations:
- Learn about your student's Winter Term class and also take the opportunity to visit other classes to see about the many various and diverse offerings.
10:30 to 11 a.m. Program overview and arts presentations in the theater:
- In addition to an overview and reflection on Winter Term, you will see a few of our arts-based classes share their performances and projects.

These talented singers performed with the Massachusetts Northeastern District Senior Honors Chorus at Lexington High School in Lexington, Mass. Wrestling "Senior Day"
On Jan. 6 the wrestling team celebrated "Senior Day," by honoring wrestlers Kam Bradley ’24, Philip Choi ’24 and Ryan Tsai ’24 with a special event for the team and their families in the Keating Room.

Giving Day is Coming Up
