Athletics
Congratulations 1st Softball!
For the first time in 18 years, softball won the Big East Invitational Tournament after beating St. Paul's School 2-0 in the finals last weekend. Pitcher Jackie Giordano '25 earned MVP of the tournament. She threw 25 2/3 innings (almost four games) this weekend giving up zero runs, allowing only eight hits, walking four and striking out 47 players! Congratulations, Jackie and the team, for an outstanding effort!
Good Luck at NEIRAs, Crew Teams
Afternoon activities wrapped up this week, except for crew. The crew teams are getting ready for their end-of-season regatta, NEIRA, at Lake Quinsigamond, Worcester, Mass.
Appreciation from the Athletics Department
Thank you to all the parents, families, and supporters of our spring afternoon activities. From team dinners, to snacks at games, and your cheering and support, we could not have done it without you. Thank you especially to parents of our graduates for your ongoing support and congratulations to your student-athlete for a great spring season.

"Six: Teen Edition" Slayed!
Two special opportunities came together behind the scenes to help make producing Brooks’ spring musical a royal treat. Discover what -- and see the first batch of professional photos from the production -- in our news story about the show, on stage May 16 - 18.
Listen Up: New Album Release Tomorrow
Maddy Byrnes '25 and Cheng Zhuang '25 are releasing an EP on May 24, "Soul-Tied." The album is a culmination of their collaboration: Zhuang produced and mixed the album, while Byrnes is the main vocalist and wrote the songs.

"The album is an exploration of different genres like R&B, reggae, and hip hop, exploring themes of lingering shadows of past relationships while delving deep into the emotional landscape of girlhood," Zhuang shares. "It captures the bittersweet essence of holding on to connections that one longs to break free from."
