Back to School 2021
With Lake Cochichewick shimmering in the sun behind him and 351 students in front of him, Head of School John Packard began fall's first Chapel on September 7 in a way as special as the new year itself: outdoors and all together again!

All-Community Read
The whole Brooks community read Trevor Noah's memoir "Born a Crime" this summer. Faculty have incorporated the book into classes this fall, giving students myriad ways of considering the work, its powerful messages and the history of apartheid in South Africa.

"Clue" Hits the Stage
Our fall play this year is a murder-mystery based on the beloved board game! Audiences are sure to be as impressed by the moveable seven-room set — that stagecraft carpentry and afternoon activities students built — as they are of the strong (and silly) performances.

Tournament Bound!
We're proud to report that Brooks' boys 1st soccer and our undefeated girls 1st field hockey teams are in first place in the Independent School League. Both teams, as well as our cross-country squads, will compete in the ISL tournament at the end of the fall season.

A New Winter Term
Our signature program is back! The intensive session of experiential and topical-based classes will kick-off in January, offering students 27 options for their three weeks of study, from returning courses such as SCUBA to first-time classes in artificial intelligence and more.

Have You Scheduled Your Tour?

We are excited to get to know our applicants better and to help them discover what makes Brooks School unique. Our virtual tour is available online but there is really no better way to experience Brooks than to come on campus for an in-person tour along with your interview. If you have not had a chance to schedule your visit, please do!
