Student Absences Reminder
If your child is going to miss a class for any reason (except for time zone differences), you must email or call Willie Waters or Vicky Matheson in the Dean of Students office. The student should be in touch with the teachers of classes that they will miss to communicate about assignments and classwork. If you know of future conflicts, please let us know as soon as possible.
Afternoon Activities
It’s time to sign up for afternoon activities for the winter session and there are lots of fun options to choose from! Your student has received the Program Information via email: Please be sure they read through the offering descriptions and then complete the sign-up form by tomorrow.  There are space limits on some of our indoor activities, so we encourage completion of the form as soon as possible. Thank you!
Students on the Forefront of Science Update
Fifth-form parents: The Students on the Forefront program is a signature experience that takes place during the summer between the fifth- and sixth-form years. Due to the current health crisis, we need to make changes to the program that will impact the opportunities for this summer. Inevitably, every year, parents, students and teachers wonder, “How did he get in and why didn’t she get in?” Using his decade of experience, Peter Wilson will give examples from applications and “pull back the curtain” to help us understand what admission committees look at, as they do the work of building a first-year class.
Course Change Period
The course change period for student classes will close on Jan. 27. The request for a course change will be submitted via an online form. The process has been communicated to students in their email accounts.
Sixth-Form Parents: 2021 Yearbook Information
Portrait Photos: Due to the impacts of COVID-19, all students are strongly encouraged to submit a portrait photo. Follow these instructions to submit. Due Feb. 15.

Senior Pages are now live. Please direct your sixth-former to this document for detailed instructions on how to create, personalize and submit their senior page! Senior pages are due April 15. 

Parent Messages: Don't forget to purchase your yearbook tribute ad for your sixth-former! Click to begin making your personalized message! These can be silly or serious — how you celebrate your child’s time at Brooks is up to you. You might send a message to your child specifically, or a group of their friends/teammates, etc. Due April 15.

What are the implications of pandemic life on the health and well-being of our young people?
