Afternoon Activities Reminder
Please remember: All flex option and independent activity student application forms are due to the athletic department by Oct. 25.
Exchange Program
Applications are currently available for Brooks' exchange program. During Family Weekend there will be an information session about it in the Chapel at 12:30 p.m. Attendees will hear from students who went on exchange last year and from Andrew McLean, exchange program director and history teacher. It is a great time to get information and ask questions about the program. Applications are due Nov. 1. Families knowing about the program, and engaging in the process alongside their students, is a great way to make the most of this opportunity. Contact Andrew McLean or Exchange Program Assistant Director and Registrar Lisa Saunders with any questions.
Yearbook: Call for Photos
Snapping photos at games and other school events? You're invited to submit those photos for possible use in the yearbook. We can use all contributors! Photographers whose images are published will get a photo credit and limitless gratitude. Email yearbook advisor Andrew McLean at [email protected] with all questions and submissions.
Food Drive
Now through Oct. 21, our food service provider Meriwether Godsey will be celebrating the 12th annual “Feed The Difference” campaign with a food drive spotlighting food insecurity and hunger awareness . Food and monetary donations, which will benefit Lazarus House , will be collected in Wilder Dining Hall. Meriwether Godsey and our local food service provider PFG will match our donations!
Parents of Fifth- and Sixth-Formers
The Dec. 7 SAT will not be offered at Brooks, but will be available at Haverhill High School, Phillips Academy Andover and other local schools. Our preference, if you register, is to select the Phillips Academy location. Please contact Assistant College Counselor Christine Jackson if your student needs a fee waiver or you have questions.

Wellness Corner
John Broderick, a former New Hampshire Supreme Court Chief Justice, shared his family’s story with the Brooks community in chapel on Monday, Oct. 14. He encouraged students to help him in his pursuit to remove the shadows around mental illness by having the informed, non-judgmental conversations that we have been avoiding for generations. Click to read a news story about his visit , including students' reactions, and watch the talk.

Brooks School is excited to hold a campus-wide mental health awareness campaign, #StickItToStigma, during game days this weekend. All athletes will be invited to wear lime green (the color of mental health awareness) with their uniforms and there will be information and ways for fans and families to show support for each other while cheering on our athletes.
This video will be shown to students during school meeting on Friday!
