THIS IS MY STORY
Tonight at 6 pm, we will hear from our final blogger, Kim Crawford. Kim is a Chaplain at St. Vincent's Hospital.

In her own words, Kim writes about her blog, Unveiled and Untangled includes samples from my heart from my journey, on my journey, as I face my journey. At a young age, we begin to wear veils that hide the beauty God created in us, and our lives become tangled in the webs of the world and in the fears of judgment and the unknown. Writing helps me to experience who I am supposed to be without this veil. Writing helps me cope. Writing helps me focus on God’s purpose for my life, rather than hide behind the veil.

February 1 - Praying with Joy (Philippians 1:3-11)
February 8 - Sharing with Joy (Philippians 1:12-21)

We are pleased to offer these financial workshops led by Philip Wilson.

Philip started Wilson Financial Group in 1989, an investment advisory firm in Birmingham, AL.  He and wife, Rhonda, live with their two children, Matthew and Caroline, and their dog, Angel.

Two physical blows changed forever the Wilson’s lives. In 2005 Philip had a massive stroke (while Rhonda was 7 months pregnant) leaving him paralyzed and in 2012, their daughter was severely burned by an exploding transformer at the soccer field of Liberty Park in Vestavia, Alabama.

They tell the story of how God sustained them through difficulties in the book, “Finding Peace in Life’s Storms.” Philip is also the author of "God Honoring Finances".

February 15 - How to send your child to college without going bankrupt.
March 1 - Mistakes 99% of Retirees make when applying for Social Security Benefits
March 8 - What to do financially when you lose a spouse
