Living Hope
Have you been to Living Hope in South Africa? Have you not been, but would love to minister there? Do you love kids? If the answer is yes to any of the above questions, here is a mission opportunity for you without leaving Birmingham!
Since no large groups are traveling to Living Hope this summer, Danielle Schneider has asked churches who have served there before to help the Life Skill Educators by sending videos of songs, Bible stories, and games to supplement and help them during July Holiday Clubs. Danielle is sending a curriculum to assist us.
The deadline for our videos is June 18th. If interested in participating, please email Diane Waud to let her know by June 11th of your interest -

Builders for Christ
The Lord has been leading us to this project:
November 2016 - Our 2017 project was canceled because the church was not ready, leaving BFC with no project.

On the same day, the Gatlinburg fires burned the Roaring Fork Baptist Church. We met with the church and their contractor, David Wild. The church decided to use BFC and told David his company was not needed. BFC had a project, but David lost a project. BFC built a beautiful church in Gatlinburg.

A few months ago, Greg Womack received a call from David Wild asking if BFC would help Roe Junction Baptist Church, Morristown, TN rebuild their sanctuary which had burned after being struck by lightning. David said he would support our project in any way he could. Without David, this project could not be completed. The Lord knew David was not needed 5 years ago, but he would be needed now.
We will build a sanctuary of 8,200 square feet. Morristown is located in Northeast TN - about 1 hour from Knoxville and about 1 hour from Gatlinburg.

The cost of the trip is $300 to cover lodging and food. You are responsible for your own\transportation.
The trip dates are:
Saw Team - Tuesday, June 22
Component Team - Wednesday, June 23
Wall Team go - Thursday, June 24
Please sign up as soon as possible. Attached are the Registration and Release forms.

For more information or questions, please contact Greg Womack at
