Conserve Water with a Residential Rain Garden
In response to dwindling water resources in the western U.S. and incentives for water-wise landscapes created by Colorado’s Turf Replacement Program, a recent project by the Colorado Stormwater Center highlights rain gardens as one practice for water conservation. Rain gardens help prevent flooding while conserving and cleaning water that will eventually make its way back into rivers. Learn more about the Residential Rain Garden Pilot Project and view training, planting guides, and other homeowner resources on the Colorado Stormwater Center website.
