COVID-19 Vaccine Information
- As of July 19, 80.2% of Broomfield residents ages 12+ are fully or partially vaccinated! This is a huge milestone for the Broomfield Community and it wouldn't be possible without the participation from residents in vaccination events and the wonderful community partnerships along the way!
- Here are a few reminders to keep Broomfield healthy and on the road to fully vaccinated:
- If you've had your first dose of a two-dose vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna), don't forget to get your second dose. Completing vaccination provides the most protection from COVID-19, and keeps the community safe, and helps resume all of the fun summer activities!
- Continue additional prevention measures, such as handwashing, physical distancing, and waiting on large gatherings.
- No Appointment, No ID, No Fee. The COVID-19 vaccine is safe, easy to get, and the best way to protect yourself from COVID-19. View locations to get your vaccine, including those requiring an appointment and those that do not at Broomfield.org/COVIDVaccine.
- If you have questions about vaccine distribution or safety, please call the state's hotline at 1.877.268.2926. Trained call center operators can give information in multiple languages.

- Broomfield's employees are always willing to help, even when it may be a little out of their usual duties. Here is what a resident had to say about Utility Technician, Kenneth Gonzales:
- "I'm writing to you in regards to your utilities technician, Kenneth Gonzales. On Monday, 7/5/21 & Tuesday, 7/6/21, Kenneth assisted the Broomfield Police Animal Services Unit with rescuing multiple ducklings that had fallen through a sewer grate. Both times, Kenneth arrived on the scene quickly and was extremely professional and caring. On the 7/5/21 call out, Kenneth went above and beyond by removing multiple covers to find the one remaining duckling. It was Kenneth's persistence that saved that duckling. Please let Kenneth know that we truly appreciate his hard work and assistance with these calls!"
