Looking forward to a GREAT school year !!

I hope all of our members and their families are off to a great start to the 2023/24 school year. We are looking forward to an exciting year. We have a very busy calendar of activities and events scheduled for this school year. We also have a number of members who will be graduating, and we hope to have a great time celebrating their achievements.

But I'm particularly excited about this school year, bringing on new members and moving our organization forward. Again, I want to thank all of our wonderful supporters for your kind words of support and the resources you continue to send our way. Please keep us in your prayers as we continue to work hard to move our organization forward.

Last school year was AWESOME!!

We're looking forward to a GREAT year!

We're looking forward to a repeat of some of the events and activities from last year's calendar. Those events will include community service, our fall and spring college tours, annual spring retreat, the St. Jude walkathon, our Black History tour, weekly school meetings, and more. We encourage our members to participate in ALL of our activities and events. These are such great learning experiences and, of course, are a lot of fun. So stay tuned, we will release our calendar the first week in September. Can't wait!!!

Below are some of the events and activities since our last newsletter...ENJOY!

Annual Camping Retreat

Our annual camping retreat at For The Kingdom at the end of the school year turned out great. We got rained on but not a lot. The fellas had a great time. For The Kingdom Camping and Retreat Center is an awesome facility. And, of course, boys will be boys. You know the weekend was full of drama and excitement! Spending a weekend with a bunch of teenage boys is always a humbling experience; there's always something new to learn. What an experience! Thank you, parents, for your trust and support! God has been so good to The Brotherhood...to Him be all the Glory!!

Back 2 School Cookout

A special thanks to our parents and members who were able to attend our Back 2 School Cookout earlier this month. We had a great time at Shelby Farms Park...good food, kayaking, some basketball, and an all-around good time! There's nothing like good clean fun on a beautiful day!

We haven't forgotten our community obligations!

We're still taking care of our adopted park (Southside Park). Took a crew last week to do a little cleanup work! It was HOT...and a lot of trash. But we got it done; the park looked great. Thanks, fellas!! Community Service is always a good idea!
