SWIS Referral Data
Loading SWIS Referral Data is now available! 
The process for loading referral data into MiDataHub is now available for districts to configure in the MiDataHub cockpit. Further details on the process can be found on the Product catalog entry for SWIS, found at the link below:

On this webpage there are 2 configuration guides available:
The SWIS inbound configuration guide provides users a thorough walkthrough of the process of downloading the referral data from SDEX, and creating an inbound integration for importing the downloaded SWIS referral data from SDEX. 

To complete the steps in this guide you will need to have access to the SDEX located at https://sdex.swis.org AND have authorization or access to someone with authorization as a technical contact in the MiDataHub cockpit. 
The Powershell Script configuration guide provides end-users the steps to use Powershell for automating the exporting of referral data from SDEX into MiDataHub. This documentation assumes you have already downloaded Powershell and have experience using this technology.

MiDataHub is continuously working with the development team at PBISAPPS to further automate this integration in the future.

MiDataHub Notifications - This forum is open for membership to anyone interested in obtaining communications about MiDataHub and will be used to share resources, updates, outages, and any form of communication with districts, vendors, and organizations involved with MiDataHub. 

MiLearn - This forum is open to membership for anyone interested in or using MiLearn and will be used to share communication and resources between vendors, the state of Michigan and school districts implementing and using MiLearn throughout the state of Michigan.

Vendor Notifications - This forum is open for partnering vendors to receive communications regarding the MI Data Hubs and to provide feedback and questions for the project team. Since the information discussed in this project is available to all vendors, no proprietary information should be disclosed.

Edupoint Synergy Notifications - This forum is open to membership for districts using the Edupoint Synergy SIS and will be used to disseminate communication and resources for distribution only to districts using the Edupoint Synergy Student Information System and MiDataHub in Michigan.

Infinite Campus Notifications - This forum is open to membership for districts using the Infinite Campus SIS and will be used to disseminate communication and resources for distribution only to districts using the Infinite Campus Student Information System and MiDataHub in Michigan.

PowerSchool Notifications - This forum is open to membership for districts using the PowerSchool SIS and will be used to disseminate communication and resources for distribution only to districts using the PowerSchool Student Information System and MiDataHub in Michigan.

Skyward Notifications - This forum is open to membership for districts using the Skyward SIS and will be used to disseminate communication and resources for distribution only to districts using the Skyward Student Information System and MiDataHub in Michigan.

Assessment Service not only includes the M-STEP data, but also PSAT and SAT, with WIDA upcoming
The MDE Assessment Service was updated last fall to allow for PSAT and SAT information to load into MiDataHub. That same update also allows historical M-STEP data to load. This data loads on a nightly basis and will load for any currently enrolled students in your district. We are currently working with the Michigan Department of Education to also provide WIDA assessment results in the near future.

Assessment results will be available for districts to use in Custom Exports and will be available via the API to systems that districts choose to integrate with for the purpose of sharing that data. The easiest way to view the data is through the use of Assessment data queries in the MiDataCockpit Custom Exports area. 

From your Manage District screen in the MiDataHub cockpit, click on Reports>Manage Custom Exports to get to the custom export tool. From that screen (Manage Export Sets), you can use the dropdown at the bottom to choose Assessments and click the Create Export Set button as shown below. That will create an export set with the most common Assessment reports. 
From that screen, you can click the link to Create Download File for 2021-2022 for any of the listed reports per the graphic below. Once the file is created, the link will change to just say Download File for 2021-2022. Clicking that will cause the report to download to your computer and open in Excel or other spreadsheet tools.
The custom scripts included in that Query group that can be easily used to review/validate available assessment data in your MiDataHub cockpit are listed, with descriptions of each, below: 

Assessment Inventory - Provides a list of assessments for the district and record counts for various aspects of the assessments

Assessment Objective Performance Level Validation - Provides a combined list of objective performance level results

Assessment Objective Score Validation - Provides a combined list of all objective assessment scores for validation purposes

Assessment Performance Level Results - Provides a list of students with their assessment performance levels

Assessment Score Results Validation - Provides a combined list of overall assessment scores
