Broward County, FL – Sweetlax Lacrosse is excited to announce that they will be partnering with Pete Dunne on an expansive programming initiative which includes welcoming his Barracuda's club program into the Sweetlax Family of Regional Programs. Anthony Rainone, Head Coach at North Broward Prep, will also join the the Barracuda's as a Program Coordinator.

Over the past 25 years, Dunne, a former defenseman at the University of Virginia, has played an integral role in the growth of the sport in South Florida. His background in the game, vision for programming and administrative competencies make him an incredible addition to the Sweetlax team.

Rainone is a, Long Island, NY (Lynbrook HS) native, and attended Lynn University where he was an All-Sunshine State attackman. He coaches in our Sweetlax Florida statewide program, and has coached with our Leatherbacks regional program for three years, he also serves as a volunteer with the Fort Lauderdale Landsharks rec program. He will be entering his second year as head coach at North Broward Prep.

The Barracudas will fill the void in a network of Sweetlax Regional Programs that will enable us to execute some unique, creative programming that will serve to enrich the experience of the boys that participate in our other South Florida programs; Miami Mahi, Leatherbacks (Boca Raton), Sails (Jupiter).
