New Headquarters for Supervisor of Elections

The new Supervisor of Elections (SOE) facility, officially opening on August 9, 2024, is a 155,000-square-foot renovation of an existing four-story office building and atrium, with the addition of a new 95,000-square-foot warehouse. It has already been recognized by some as one of the finest Supervisor of Elections facilities in the country.

Among its most unique features are an atrium accessible to the public with a large video display to monitor election activities and broadcasts and a Transparency Corridor which encircles the entire operations area and has multiple viewing windows for direct visual observation of the entire ballot production and processing activities. The facility is opening just in time for upcoming elections on August 20 and November 5, 2024.

The Vulnerable Population Registry is a tool that municipalities use to help evaluate resident needs and assist in planning a response in an emergency.

Residents who may be vulnerable in the event of an emergency are encouraged to pre-register in the Vulnerable Population Registry. It's for those at risk due to a disability, frailty or health issue, regardless of age, who choose to shelter at home.
