| | Career Opportunities at FLL | | Connect with a wide range of employers that support airport operations at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) Job Fair on Friday, August 28 starting at 9am at the Broward County Convention Center. Meet with companies that help keep the airport running, including retail and concessions, ground transportation, parking services, security, janitorial, law enforcement, airline subcontractors, and much more. | | Locals and visitors are invited to experience Visit Lauderdale’s Dine Out Lauderdale Restaurant Months, showcasing vibrant culinary offerings at special pricings. More than 160 restaurants around Broward are offering three-course prix fixe menus at four price points: $35 for lunch, $45 or $60 for dinner, and elevated lux dining experiences for $75. Dine Out Lauderdale runs from August through September. | | 250th Anniversary Experience | Broward County Library presents "American Revolution: The 250th Anniversary Experience," a free and unique venue travelling show on display until October 5. Visitors can re-live key moments in the American Revolution by combining world class scholarship and 3D technologies. The augmented exhibition is currently at the Southwest Regional Library in Pembroke Pines through September 4 and will be traveling to the North Regional/Broward College Library in Coconut Creek on September 8 - October 5. | | |

Broward County’s official government website, Broward.org, is currently undergoing an exciting transition. Our web team is building a cleaner, simpler, and more user-friendly site. To ensure residents and visitors still have access to what they need, starting Monday, August 10, Broward.org will temporarily operate as a simplified site while upgrades are being made. This version will only feature essential pages and core information.
Please know, our main business services, support channels, and communication lines will remain fully active and open during this transition. We expect our site to be fully operational within a few months.
