The International Cricket Council (ICC) Men's T20 World Cup Tournament is coming to the U.S. for the first time. Central Broward Park and Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill is one of three U.S. host sites to hold the international matches, taking place in June. To get ready for the event, the stadium is currently undergoing renovations to ensure an immersive and unforgettable experience for cricket fans.

Be on the lookout for the eight-foot-tall replica of the ICC T20 World Cup cricket ball stopping at various locations before it heads to its home at the Broward County Stadium. If you spot it, make sure to interact with the cricket ball’s augmented reality.
Broward County offers many programs for individuals with disabilities. From airport assistance and library programs to parks events and transportation services, residents a​nd visitors can now find information on services that help improve accessibility all in one place.
This year's Women's History Month theme, “Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion,” recognizes women throughout the country who understand that, for a positive future, we need to eliminate bias and discrimination entirely from our lives and institutions. The Broward County Commission on the Status of Women is honoring 14 Broward County women who are life-changing leaders contributing to the social, economic and political history of our community.
March marks the official start of sea turtle nesting season. Last season, the Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program documented a record-setting 4,785 nests on the County’s 24-mile coastline. Find information on turtle walks and ways to safely observe a nesting turtle on the beach, along with valuable information and resources on protecting our sea turtles.

22nd Annual Water Matters Day
Saturday, March 9
Learn about water conservation techniques, smart irrigation and native landscaping at Water Matters Day at Tree Tops Park in Davie. The event will feature interactive educational displays, food trucks, children’s activities and morePlus, Broward County residents will be able to get up to two free trees/shrubs per household after visiting one booth in each of the ten exhibitor zones and completing the Scavenger Hunt e-form. 
Africana Arts & Humanities Festival
March 21-23
The African American Research Library & Cultural Center is holding its first annual Africana Arts & Humanities Festival “Rootedness: Celebrating 50 Years of Black Literature and Culture," as part of Broward County Library’s 50th Anniversary celebration. Throughout the three-day festival & symposium, attendees will enjoy guest speakers including authors and live jazz music.
Broward Water Parks Opening Soon!
Broward County Water Parks offer interactive water playgrounds, swim lagoons, waterslides, splash pads, tube rides and much more. Parks will be open daily Friday, March 22 through Sunday, March 31 and then will go to a summer schedule. Water Parks are located in Hollywood, Pembroke Pines and Deerfield Beach.

In honor of National 311 Day (3/11), Broward County reminds you the 311 Call Center is a multilingual, one-stop shop for information on County government services and programs offered by more than 60 County agencies. Residents can also submit service requests or find answers to questions at MyBroward.Broward.org.

311 is a non-emergency number for residents to report issues and ask questions. Callers are provided a fast, simple and convenient way to reach trained, professional information specialists.

The Call Center is open Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5pm and 24/7 during emergencies.
