Brownfields University Registration Now Open


Brownfields University returns as our foundational pre-conference training program for Brownfields 2025! It will provide a curriculum of core brownfield concepts and practices to prepare attendees for the full educational program content.


To add Brownfields University sessions to your already-existing registration, please follow the steps below:


  1. Go to the Brownfields 2025 registration site.
  2. Click “Already Registered, Go to my Attendee Account”
  3. Log in using your username and password OR click “Account/Badge Number and Last Name” to log in with your badge number (ex. 1234-1) and last name. The account/badge number can be found in your registration confirmation email (from: brownfields@prereg.net, Subject: 2025 National Brownfields Training Conference Confirmation/Receipt).
  4. Hover your mouse over “⚙️Edit” and select “Events.”
  5. Select the Brownfields University workshop(s) you would like to attend.
  6. Navigate to the end of the registration site to confirm and check out.

There is no additional charge to register for Brownfields University sessions. Seating is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis. Register now to guarantee your spot!

Perfect Pitch Applications Closing Tomorrow


Do you have a complex brownfield reuse project that would benefit from free support such as market analysis, reuse planning, community engagement strategy, or pro forma guidance? At this year’s Perfect Pitch EVERYONE will leave a winner! All contestants will receive expert advice, peer input, and free support. 


Each of the three selected finalists will receive up to $50,000 in support funded by the EPA TAB Program, an EPA technical assistance program offering free services to communities nationwide.

The Perfect Pitch is supported by the Technical Assistance to Brownfields (TAB) Program, which provides free technical assistance to brownfields communities nationwide.

Revolving Loan Funds Pre-Conference Session

Tuesday, August 5, 2025, 9am-1pm (Breakfast/Networking at 8am)


Join Grow America and ICMA ahead of the National Brownfields Training Conference for a deep dive into EPA Brownfields Revolving Loan Funds. While these revolving loan funds can be powerful tools for redeveloping your community, these funds require deft administration, outreach strategies, and different staffing support. Connect with other revolving loan fund teams to learn how they have built strengths and overcome challenges in their program.


This morning half-day session will convene current and prospective EPA Brownfields Revolving Loan Fund grantees and operators for a discussion about lessons learned, best practices, and strategies to increase economic and environmental impact.


Pre-registration is required for this session and space is limited. Registration for the National Brownfields Training Conference is not required for participation in this event.
