Below are two daughters of the famed THM Lady Innovation 3189-690 that will be featured in the sale.

Brumfield Lady Identified 116

Brumfield Lady Identified 116 is a powerful 3 year old sired by Mill Brea Identified 4031. She is currently nursing a fall heifer calf by Symmetry 228. A great 2-in-1 opportunity to get a proven cow with a heifer calf sired by a rising star and backed by a proven foundation donor.

Brumfield Lady 2132

Brumfield Lady 2132 is another stout made daughter sired by the popular E&B Wildcat 9402. This female that comes out of the bred heifer division possesses tremendous style and balance just like her dam. She is due to calve late fall to Connealy Craftsman 070R.

Land Operations Expansion

To keep up with our growing herd, we're always looking to add properties to our land operations. Over the last 24 months, we've added 590 key acres in IN and MI to support the herd at the Sawyer, MI headquarters (160 acres). For the newer properties, we leveraged multiple grasses and legumes to create quality forage requiring minimal inputs. We also planted annuals to generate forage and add nutrients back into the soil at some of our new pastureland as well. Learn more about our Land Operations on the BAF website!

Intern Program

For the past 3 years, we've hired college interns to increase our team's bandwidth and provide students passionate about the industry an opportunity to grow their skillsets. Jake Pearl, a senior at Oklahoma State, worked at BAF from late May through early August this year. Jake was a tremendous help this summer and has a bright future in the industry. Thank you for all of your efforts, Jake!

Fall Breeding Season

With the 2024 fall breeding season quickly approaching, we are thrilled to continue integrating our senior herd sire genetics into the program. Symmetry 228 is helping to lead the charge in pushing our program to the next level. Contact any of the BAF team members regarding semen for the fall breeding season. Learn more about our Sires on the BAF website!

Symmetry 228

Teaming up with the Symmetry group we purchased Symmetry 228 in the 2022 National Finals Sale. We had high hopes for him at that point and he has not disappointed. He has matured into a powerfully constructed, free moving, muscular bull all while maintaining a world of style and balance. He ranks in the top 1% for 6 economical traits and has tremendous phenotype, making him a must use sire for fall 2024. The first calves arrived this spring and they have become standouts in the pastures. The definition of symmetry: the beauty of form arising from balanced proportions. We’d say he was named appropriately.

NJAA Participation

Check out some of the BAF team's kids participating in NJAA events over the past few months!

Kyla Mather, daughter of Mitch and Nicole Mather, participated in the American Gelbvieh Junior Classic in July. The Mather family made the drive to Woodward, OK from Wilsall, MT (BAF MT headquarters) and enjoyed their time at all of the events. Congrats to Kyla for a great showing!

Tori DeMeyer, daughter of Dan DeMeyer, showed in the NJAA event, while also competing in the costumed themed roast cook-off where her team won. Congrats to Tori and her team for their efforts in the event!
