This sparkling, crystal clear liquid exhibits an unparalleled freshness with herbal and floral aromas, light and fruity with sweet sugar cane and citrus notes and a well-balanced, pastrie finish – a world away from many one-dimensional, almost vodka-like molasses-based white rums. Take a tour!
Stone and Wood. One of Australia's best know breweries is right here in Byron Bay! The story of Stone & Wood began in 2008 when three friends – Brad, Ross and Jamie – decided, after many years in the brewing industry, to get away from the world of big beer and start their own thing.

Inspired by the idea of the ‘village brewery’ – that is, a brewery that brews quality beer while giving back to the wider community – Brad, Ross and Jamie founded Stone & Wood in a modest shed in Byron Bay’s industrial estate and began following their vision of creating a conscious local business. A tour not to be missed!

Brunswick Heads is a very popular destination for recreational beach and river fishing. Healthy and diverse habitats mean healthy and diverse fish populations; a must if you want to catch fish.
Species include Estuary perch, yellowfin bream, tarwhine, sand flathead, garfish, leatherjacket, mangrove jack, luderick, moses perch, mulloway, mullet, pearl perch, tailor, silver trevally, snapper.
Nestled between the two break walls at the mouth of the beautiful Brunswick River, the human-made beach is almost always crystal-clear and swell-free, providing perfect swimming conditions for all.
The small strip of sand on the shore of Torakina is ideal for sunbathing, picnicking, and building sandcastles. A few spots on the sand are shaded by the surrounding trees – some of which are excellent for climbing.
