Greetings!

With 2025 well underway it is incredible to see God at work in the lives of our clients already. We have had several saved babies this year, and it is always wonderful to hear that a mom and dad are thankful that they had their baby and how much that baby is a blessing in their lives.

Our men's ministry in particular has been especially busy so far this year, sometimes seeing as many as 4 or 5 dads in a day! What a blessing to see an abortion minded father have his eyes opened during an ultrasound to the life that has been created. One couple recently came in for an ultrasound and the mom wanted to have the baby and the dad told our advocates that he would support whatever she wanted, but really he wanted her to abort. Our fatherhood team met with the dad and brought him into the ultrasound room to see his baby, and he went from being abortion minded to getting excited about being a father!

It truly is a joy to serve moms, dads and families affected by unplanned pregnancy. And this work would not be possible without your generous financial support, volunteer hours, prayers and passion to see the Gospel furthered right here in our community. Thank you for your faithful partnership!

Here are some ministry updates:

  • Reaching fathers is an incredible calling for our fatherhood advocates. Read more here about one advocate's journey to making a difference in the lives of the dads who come to BsideU.
  • Spring has sprung, which can only mean that our Scramble for Life is right around the corner! Read more here about our upcoming Golf Scramble at Audubon Country Club.
  • Prayer is the foundation of all we do here at BsideU and we want to pray for you, our donors and supporters. Click here to find out how to submit prayer requests so that our staff and prayer team can pray for you.
  • It's Baby Bottle Campaign time! It's not too late to sign up your church or small group to participate. Click here to find out more!
  • Our nurses provide more than medical services here at BsideU. Read here how nurse Keila's care and conversation brought a mom to gospel faith.
  • Our lawn crew is gearing up for the summer and we are looking for folks to help maintain our small green space. Click here to find out more!

Praises:

  • For our church partners who are participating in our Baby Bottle Campaign this spring.
  • For our new Lunchroom Coordinator, Renee and our new Intake Coordinator, Joelle.
  • That we have been able to see God at work in the lives of our clients this year; we praise Him for allowing us to be a part of what He is doing here in Louisville.
  • For our faithful supporters and donors who make it possible for us to provide our services to clients at no cost.
  • That more fathers have come in this year for pregnancy center appointments and for our fatherhood mentors who help guide dads as they lead their families.
  • For our dedicated staff and volunteers who ensure that the ministry operates smoothly.

Prayer Requests:

  • That the Lord would provide a new Executive Director for us that would fit in well and lead BsideU into the future.
  • That more clients would be drawn to BsideU through our online outreach efforts.
  • For more volunteers to come to the center in 2025. We have a number of volunteer needs, such as pregnancy center advocates (for moms and dads), child care workers, lawn maintenance workers, and meal preparers/servers.
  • That our clients would have open minds to hearing the Gospel and that they would embrace real change for their lives.
  • For wisdom and discernment as we launch a campaign to replace our mobile unit that has had significant mechanical issues in 2024. Pray for funds to come in to exceed our seed challenge when we launch, and discernment in what vehicle we acquire to replace our aging unit.
  • That more babies would be saved this year and that more hearts would be changed through the Gospel.
  • That our Scramble For Life would raise much needed funds to support the ministry.

Thank you for your faithful support of BsideU for Life! We are grateful for you.

Have a blessed Easter!

Sincerely,
