Adventures of Leo The Lion (and his mom too!)
Meet Leo, one of the newest Lions of Pack 47 in Canton South. Even though Leo just joined Cub Scouts this past May, he has been busy ever since! He and his mom Aimee had a summer of adventure by attending every Cub Scout camp they could - Despicable STEM weekend at Camp Akela and Hetuck District's Twilight Camp.

"It was so nice to see other parents at Twilight camp with their Scouts. Leo was able to bring his two cousins to camp during Bring-A-Friend day, and both of them have now joined Cub Scouts as well," said Aimee.

After having so much fun at those camps, Leo was eager for more excitement and was the very first Scout to register for Family Adventure Camp ! Leo's den has grown to nine new Lions, and Aimee is now the their Lion Guide. An exciting start to their Scouting journey that will last throughout the coming years!

Leo's Favorite Memories from Camp:
  • Flag raising & lowering during opening and closing ceremonies. He loved saying the Pledge of Allegiance!
  • Sling Shots and Archery. His mom says it's all he talked about on the way home!
  • Earning his patch and Tomahawk award at the end of camp

Aimee's Favorite Memories from Camp:
  • Watching Leo interact and connect with other kids at camp so easily.
  • Experiencing camp alongside Leo.
