Let’s get to know each other better! Buda UMC's United Women in Faith are hosting a Women’s Potluck right after worship on July 16! We're keeping it simple, like Jesus suggested to Martha when she complained that Mary was not helping her*, and making it a potluck. In fact, we could call it a “Mary Potluck!" All women are invited, including “little women.”

Then, around noon, we will transition to the United Women of Faith quarterly meeting, for those who wish to participate.

United Women of Faith Quarterly Meeting

So, around noon, we will begin our UWF Quarterly Meeting, on Sunday, July 16. This promises to be a busy, exciting meeting! Some areas to be covered are: distributing water at Southside Community Center, helping with the Pumpkin Patch, and planning our annual Bazaar. You get to know others better as you work alongside them! So, let’s work together on these and other projects! The meeting will conclude by 2:00.

Sunday, July 30th

We invite you join us for our Gospel Brunch on July 30th. Bring a dish to share – the Fellowship Hall will be open starting at 8:30am to receive your dishes. And if you are interested in membership, you can meet with Pastor Matt and get to know others interested in becoming a member at BUMC.

July 25th-28th

Summer is here!

We are so excited to invite your child to VBS with us! We are looking forward to see how God can move in our childrens' lives.

VBS will be July 25th-28th, 6:30-8:30pm, the children will engage in crafts, music, and games, including a dinner each evening.

On Friday of VBS, we would like to invite all our parents and guardians to join the fun for burgers and hotdogs and then enjoy an evening together at the splash pad.

Several new ringers have stepped up to initiate a new Handbell Choir! Thanks to Manchaca UMC for loaning us some music and performance binders! We’ll be rehearsing on Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm in the Worship Center and have plenty of room for more folks to chime in! Contact Cindy Naples at [email protected] for more information.

Wednesdays, 6:30pm

Buda's Wednesday Night Prayer Service is back!!! Join in for a weekly meditation on the Psalms, music, and Holy Communion every Wednesday.

Children's Sunday School is at 9:00am, before Worship.

This week the children will learn about what it means that we are free in Jesus. Not only do we have freedom from sin, we also have free will to choose to following Lord. He does not force our love, but offers His love and grace as a free and beautiful gift that will improve and enhance our lives.
