Happy Birthday Jesus Party

This will be a great time of fellowship, songs, games, and food to celebrate the arrival of Sweet Baby Jesus! The party will be held in the Family Life Center at Kyle UMC. This party is for all children but youth are encouraged to participate

United Methodist Women

Food Pantry News

The Buda UMC food pantry is having a new floor installed and we need to empty the shelves and the room in preparation. Please come help on Saturday 12/10 at 10:30am to help. Should only take about 60-90 minutes.

Trail of Lights

If you would like to walk the trail of lights with your church family please meet at Cabela's at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, 12/16.

Christmas Day Worship and Potluck Lunch

There will be one service at 10 am on Christmas day followed by a potluck lunch. If you do not have family or friends in town this Christmas, please consider joining Pastor Nancy and Casey for lunch and bring something to share.

Huntington Senior Apartments

Pastor Nancy is leading a weekly worship service at Huntington Senior Apartments located on Firecracker Drive in Buda every Tuesday morning at 10am. Several of our church members reside at Huntington but are unable to attend worship any longer and have no regular means of transportation. If you would like to be part of this new ministry, even by worshiping with us, know that you are welcome! Please contact Pastor Nancy at 512-295-6981.

Meals on Wheels

Is in immediate need of hiring a Site Manager. The position is part-time 5 days a week for 4-5 hours a day. Duties include serving food, keeping reports, and recruiting volunteers. Please contact Helen Snow at 979/540-2980 for more information.

Choir Director Needed

Joyce Boelsche announced to the choir that she plans to step aside as our beloved choir director by the end of February. If you would like to serve in this role, or know of someone, please contact Joyce or Pastor Nancy in the church office.

Equipping the Saints

The Hill Country District of the UMC will be hosting another leadership training event on Sat. 1/21/17 at Fredericksburg UMC. Everyone is encouraged to attend. More information will be provided later this year.

Shape Notes

Christian Harmony Practice Singing hosted by Gaylon Powell and Morris Nelms will meet 10 to noon in the Wesley Bldg. on Saturday December 10. The Christian Harmony is a hymnal originally published in 1866 by Singing Billy Walker. Shape Note singing is FREE and very user friendly. Come join us.
