Town of Erin Council will approve Budget 2023 in December. The budget will set out the Town's long term goals and the priorities for 2023. Residents are encouraged to get involved and provide their feedback via the survey or by emailing budget@erin.ca

Property Tax

The property mix in Erin is dominated by residential properties, followed by farms, vacant lands and finally commercial properties. Commercial and industrial properties contribute approximately 2.4 times the amount towards taxes than residential properties - so having more businesses come to our community helps everyone. Did you know that the Town of Erin's average property tax rate increase is not only the lowest in the County but also lower than inflation rates?
