Budget Update
The Governor announced last night that an agreement has been reached on a final framework for the NYS Budget. An overview of the Governor's announcement can be found here.
No budget bills have been released, and the outcome for our field remains unclear.
Unfortunately, the Governor's budget overview did not include any mention of Human Services providers or the critical 8.5% COLA we've been advocating for.
Both the Governor and Legislator have indicated that outstanding issues remain to be resolved. We encourage you to continue calling state leaders to express the urgent need for an 8.5% COLA.
