  MISSION
With unrelenting determination and a commitment to excellence, Buffalo Collegiate Charter School educates students in grades 4 through 12 to graduate from the college of their choice and serve as our next generation of leaders.

Dear current and future families of Buffalo Collegiate ,

We hope this finds you well. We are excited to write to share our school's progress as our students continue to create history. Our students and staff have grown so much, and we cannot wait to watch our success continue to rise in 2020. Buffalo Collegiate's mission is alive and growing thanks to your continued commitment.

On March 2, the 18 students who demonstrated the most academic growth will visit SUNY Geneseo to celebrate their achievement. We are excited to not only celebrate students' growth in Year 1, but also showcase a college that could become the college of their choice. We also have four teachers who are alumni of Geneseo, which is one of the best colleges in New York State.

We look forward to continuing to celebrate our students on their pathway to becoming college graduates and leaders of the next generation.

With Unrelenting Determination and a Commitment to Excellence,
Brian Pawloski
Head of School
KEY DESIGN: Strong Partnerships with Families
We work to forge strong relationships with our families. We created our Parent Action Council (PAC) to give a voice to families so that we could best respond to their needs and use their feedback to grow and improve.

"The school really encourages the students to take pride in themselves, in their families, and in their school work. I love how Buffalo Collegiate encourages students to believe in themselves."
-Founding Parent
CORE BELIEF: Every Moment Counts
At Buffalo Collegiate, we are building a community of future leaders who know that every moment counts. Our students engage in rich novel study in English Language Arts and apply their Math knowledge to challenging math concepts and problems. By making the most of every moment, our students ensure they maximize their education.
EXTRA CURRICULAR SPOTLIGHT: Improv Night
Our students starred in our inaugural Improv Night at our Winter Open House. They wowed the crowd with their comedic timing and wit. In our Performing Arts classes students learn how to become courageous public speakers through their improv, monologue, and scene work.

PRIDE SPOTLIGHT: Leader of the Week
We are focused on preparing our students to be leaders of the next generation. In order to accomplish this, teachers choose six leaders to be honored during our weekly Community Meeting. These leaders are chosen for their courageous demonstration of our PRIDE Values.

"I was the leader of the week because I showed empathy towards my classmates."

-Le'Lah Gordon, Howard University
