Dear Buffalo Grove  Business Owner, 

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Village of Buffalo Grove is working around the clock with our partners to minimize the impact of this pandemic on our community -  including our business community. We value our businesses, and we are here to  serve and help you in any way we can. As a result, we are sending out this special edition of our Business Bulletin with key information, resources, and upcoming events to help you aduring this time. Please also be sure check out the Village's Covid-19 webpage at vbg.org/covid19, which is continuously updated with the latest news and information.  Our FAQ page is also a great resource.

Village Requests P.P.E. Donations from Businesses with a Surplus
Businesses that have a surplus of protective equipment (P.P.E.) are asked to consider donating items to the Village's first responders during the COVID-19 outbreak. Please click here for a list of items and other criteria for what will be accepted. Businesses may drop off P.P.E. items at the Buffalo Grove Police Department, 46 Raupp Boulevard in Buffalo Grove. Thank you for your consideration during these challenging times.

Upcoming Virtual Village Meetings
Get the Latest Information

A Virtual Town Hall Meeting  will take place  Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at   6:00 p.m. on the  Village's Facebook page  through Facebook Live. Click  here  for more information and to submit questions. If you do not have a Facebook account, you can still visit the Facebook page and watch this live event. 

Immediately following the Town Hall, a Special Buffalo Grove Village Board meeting will take place to extend the Emergency Declaration from Village President  Beverly Sussman. Click  here  to learn how to participate in this meeting.
Governor Pritzker's Stay At Home Order 
Effective at 5:00 p.m. on March 21, 2020, Governor J.B. Pritzker issued a statewide 'Stay at Home' order. This order is in effect until April 7, 2020 and states that businesses which provide essential services are permitted to remain open.

Wondering if your business is permitted to remain open? Here are some resources to help you answer that question.

Supporting BG Restaurants
Buffalo Grove restaurants and bars are currently closed to dine-in customers. However, restaurants are permitted to provide carryout/curbside pickup and delivery.
View a list of BG Restaurants and their contact information. Please be sure to contact restaurants to confirm they are open and providing carryout/curbside pickup and delivery.

Per a recent Executive  Order made by Village President, dining and eating establishments that hold a liquor license, which allow the retail sale of alcohol on premise are authorized to sell beer and wine for carryout, in conjunction with carryout food. However the delivery of alcohol is not permitted by 3rd party delivery services. It is only allowed by the food establishment.
