Dear Friends of Build A Miracle,

It is with admiration and inspiration that we wake up each morning, thankful for the generosity of our sponsors and inspired by ALL that our friends in Mexico are doing these days.

They have always been amazing in their approach to life and their desire to get ahead - and to help others get ahead - but now they have risen to even higher levels.

They worked through the pandemic, building 58 homes from 2020-2021, made sure 600+ children continued to receive an education, all while checking that their neighbors were cared for.

Now that the Community Center is open again, it is full steam ahead!

We only wish we could give you updates more often because there are

SO many beautiful miracles happening each day to warm your heart.

The Community Center Has Opened Back Up

Buses are back traveling through the neighborhoods to pick up kids and families as they have returned to classes at the Community Center.

In addition to this, we will continue tutoring in the learning cells set up at individual BAM homes during the pandemic while schools in TJ were closed. They were so successful that we will keep running those on top of hosting classes at the Community Center for kids!

The Business Building across the street from the Community Center is up and running!

We are working on expanding the panaderia/bakery business, and taco shop/commercial kitchen – selling items they have made in the business building in their communities.

The BAM Taco Shop Getting Ready to Provide Even More Job Opportunities

Small Business Program

60 people have graduated from the BAM small business training course and have set up or are working on setting up businesses in their homes

Dad's Program

Over 100 fathers participate in the Dad's Program every Sunday helping to fix up shacks for people who do not own their land.

Grandparent Program

The team has started a grandparent program where scholarship students and people on the waiting list for a home earn hours helping out, planning activities, or just spending time with grandparents in their neighborhoods to make their lives better.

Villa Margarita:

A Build A Miracle Community!

14 homes from the Build a Miracle Villa Margarita community are almost finished and the first three families have moved in - with with 3 more moving in next week!

Medical and Dental Programs Continue to Serve the People

Thanks to generous donors, many families are receiving medicines and medical treatment that they otherwise could not afford each month

We are Working on Houses #450-455!

Big groups have been coming back to volunteer!

NotiBAM!

Translated below is the second edition of the newsletter put together by Build a Miracle college and high school scholarship students and is handed out by our 25 leaders and subleaders to all the people in

Build a Miracle homes and to those who participate at the Community Center as a way of connecting everyone and letting them know many of the things that are going on in the community.

What is NotiBAM?

The meaning comes from a play on the Spanish words "Noticias," meaning "News," and BAM, which of course stands for Build A Miracle.

We are so proud of these scholarship students for their hard work in high school and college as well as for getting this newsletter together, proud of the families who have worked so hard to make all of these things happen - And every day thankful for YOU because you are the reason that these miracles are even possible.
