Local Educators Feeling Positive About Trauma-Informed Practices
Used to evaluate the value of Resilient Lehigh Valley’s trauma-informed training and education, ARTIC 10 assessments were conducted across five local school districts including Bethlehem Area, Easton Area, East Penn, Whitehall-Coplay, and Northern Lehigh. The results indicate that school staff feels more confident in the areas of trauma’s underlying causes, responses, and on-the-job behavior
Building Thriving Families
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Children need safe, stable and nurturing relationships and environments to thrive; parents and caregivers need to feel safe and supported as well to thrive as caregivers. We can all play a role.
Launch Child Abuse Prevention Month with
United Way's Marci Lesko
Join us on April 4 for a Facebook Live with Marci Lesko, Executive Vice President of UWGLV and Board Vice-Chair of PA Family Support Alliance, to kick off Child Abuse Prevention Month. Hear from Marci as she discusses why child abuse prevention work matters, updates on current rates of child maltreatment, and how our Lehigh Valley community is coming together to protect children and support struggling families.

The LIVE event begins at 12:30 p.m. on Resilient Lehigh Valley’s Facebook page.
