Community Embraces Funding for Child Care
San Mateo County Supervisors Allocate Additional Funds to Support Child Care
The San Mateo County Board of Supervisors approved a grant for an additional $2 million of Coranvavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act Funds, authorized by the federal government, to augment the "Child Care Relief Fund" — a COVID-19 recovery fund to benefit child care providers adversely impacted by COVID-19 in San Mateo County.

Corporations and Philanthropies Generate $500,000 in Support of San Mateo Child Care Relief Fund
Local businesses, government, philanthropies, and community organizations have contributed $500,000 to support the San Mateo County Child Care Relief Fund, which will assist local childcare providers impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
