Join the 2026 BCCLS Scavenger Hunt - a fun-filled journey to discover the BCCLS logo hidden in participating libraries.
Here’s how it works:
- Pick up your scavenger hunt form at either Hoboken Public Library location starting June 15.
- Visit at least 3 libraries between June 15 and August 15, 2026, and find the hidden BCCLS logo.
- Get your form stamped with each library’s property stamp as proof of your discovery!
- Return your form to any BCCLS library by August 29, 2026.
Visit at least 3 libraries (hint: the Main Library and Grand Street Branch are listed as two separate locations) and you may win a $50 Visa Gift Card!

The New Jersey Blood Center is coming to the library, and this time there are some seriously good reasons to roll up your sleeve. Every eligible donor this month will receive a box of Girl Scout Cookies and two New York Mets tickets!
Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome until 4:30 PM. To prepare, eat well, stay hydrated, bring a valid photo ID, and make sure you're feeling well and symptom-free.

The world's biggest soccer tournament is screening at the library!
Library F.C. is a free community soccer viewing party screening every match that falls during library operating hours in our Small Program Room and Garden. Light refreshments will be provided, and all ages are welcome, whether you're a lifelong supporter or watching for the first time.
Note: If a match extends into overtime near closing time, supporters will need to continue watching elsewhere. Check our calendar for upcoming match dates and times.

Staying connected shouldn't be out of reach. The library is hosting a Lifeline Phone Sign-Up Event in partnership with the City of Hoboken's Social Services team and the Library Social Worker, bringing on-site representatives to help eligible residents apply for the federal Lifeline program.
Qualifying participants may receive a free mobile phone with talk, text, and data service, with a one-time $5 copay. Staff will be available to walk you through the process, answer questions, and help determine eligibility on the spot.
To attend:
-Bring a valid photo ID
-Proof of address
-Proof of participation in qualifying assistance programs if applicable
-W2 or Social Security Income Verification Letter.
Please note that a free phone and service are not guaranteed, and eligibility is determined by program representatives at the event.

Pride Month gets a little louder this afternoon with a special edition of Pride Bingo.
Multiple rounds of bingo, great prizes, and a room full of community members ready to celebrate make this one of the most fun events on our Pride calendar. Between games, expect trivia and facts drawn from LGBTQ+ history, culture, and the trailblazers who shaped it. All are welcome, whether you're a bingo veteran or a total newcomer. Bring your friends, meet some new ones, and come ready to have a great time.

Step inside a PC and see how it really works.
In this workshop, you'll assemble a working computer from scratch, learn what each part does, and practice real troubleshooting skills used by IT pros. You'll even take home your own iFixit repair toolkit.
Open to ages 11+. All ages are welcome to register, and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
This class will run weekly until June 28th.
