Thanks to the generosity of SNHBA members, especially Closets Las Vegas, the association raised more than $2,200 for its HomeAid Southern Nevada chapter at the Membership Networking Mixer, hosted by Closets Las Vegas, on May 18 at the company's headquarters.

More than 100 members and special guests attended the mixer, where they enjoyed the hospitality of the Closets Las Vegas team, headed by Joe Ferraro who is an active and supportive member of the association. Attendees enjoyed an open bar of wine, beer and soft drinks, and food from the Boqueria Street Spanish Cuisine Food Truck - and some unusually delicious cup cakes!

Proceeds were turned over to the association's HomeAid Southern Nevada, which is building new lives for the homeless men, women and children in our community by constructing and renovating shelter and providing outreach services.

The tournament's overall winners' trophies went to the Classic
Door & Trim foursome of Clay Carr, Jeff Carr, Mike Spina and
Keith Underwood. Congratulations to all the winning players!
The association thanks all those involved - the sponsors, the players, the Golf Committee members, the volunteers and staffers - in the success of the spring golf tournament, hosted by Security National Mortgage Co., on May 12 at the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort.

1st Place trophies went to the Acoustic Design foursome and Discovery Builders foursome.

2nd Place trophies were awarded to the Closets Las Vegas foursome and a Wells Cargo foursome.

Other winners included:
Men's Longest Drive: Doug Castillo and Brandon Holly
Women's Longest Drive: Catie Bulger and Shawna Desart
Men's Closest to the Pin: Kevin Amico and John Benyo
Women's Closest to the Pin: Tina Dias

The tournament was full with 288 players, and tee sponsors on the 36 holes of the Sun Mountain and Snow Mountain courses.

A special "thank you" goes to the managers and staff at the Paiute Golf Resort for their hard work and efforts to ensure the success of the tournament.

The association's two annual golf tournaments are major contributors to the operating budget.
